Moe Ekapob S.
Project Director

Moe graduated from the Architectural Association, AA School of Architecture in London with AADipl and ARB/RIBA 2 (UK Architects Registration Board / Royal Institute of British Architects) and MA in Architectural Lighting and Design Management from Wismar University, Germany. He has worked in San Francisco (sea.design), Amsterdam (IBA - Information Based Architecture), London (ARUP in AGU - Advanced Geometry Unit) and New York (SOM - Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in Digital Design Group and Urban Design & Planning Group). Moe is also teaching at INDA - International Program in Design and Architecture, Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok. Moe was an editor for a book "New Design: School in Thailand" (Li-zenn Publishing, 2017). He also gave a lecture and workshop about school design at EDUtech Asia 2018 in Singapore. In 2021, he joined a panel discussion at the AIA San Francisco on The Equitable Practice: Creating Pathways through City College of San Francisco (CCSF).

Taylor Lowe
Design Director

Taylor is a PhD candidate in the University of Chicago’s Department of Anthropology. He is also an architect and adjunct professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s (SAIC) department of Architecture Interior Architecture and Designed Objects (AIADO). His research interests concern ornamentation and systems theory, contemporary cosmological architecture, and design anthropology. Taylor has taught architecture and design history, theory and studio at the University of Chicago; SAIC; Cornell University’s College of Art, Architecture and Planning (AAP); and Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok. He is an architectural designer and partner at AND in Bangkok. While his built work exists exclusively in Thailand, his designs have been exhibited at the “Water: Curse or Blessing” and “Smart Cities” exhibits at the AEDES Gallery in Berlin, the Ladhaki Arts and Media Organization (LAMO) in India, and the Sullivan Galleries in Chicago. His written and graphic work has been published in the Journal Sensate and has earned Taylor the Schiff Prize for Architectural Criticism. He has also written and co-designed the book "Make Less Into More" (Amarin Publishing 2010) on and with his former colleagues at S+PBA architects.

Manop Kaewmoracharoen, PhD
Director of Engineering

Manop is an Assistant Professor in the Civil Engineering Department at Chulalongkorn University. He received his PhD in Construction Engineering and Management from Iowa State University in 2009. His research interests include information design and artificial intelligence in construction engineering projects, including building information modeling (BIM), construction digital twin, genetic algorithm, real-time data sensing, virtual reality, extended reality, and other emerging technologies.
